SPRING 2012 PERFORMANCE COMPANY

BROADWAY BOUND PERFORMANCE CLASS
(Grades 3-5)
Mondays 4:00-5:30 (1st CLASS FEB 6th)
A class, offering continued instruction in Voice, Acting, and Dance. The class will include Improv Techniques, as well as material from the popular show, ***HAIRSPRAY***. Perfect for the student who is ready to proceed from Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance, or for those with similar introductory training. Also prepares students planning to apply to the Main Stage Performance Company.
End of Season Performance: APRIL 30, 2012.
GOTTA SING, GOTTA DANCE PERFORMANCE CLASS 1 & 2
(Grades K-1 & 1-2)
Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00 or 5:00 - 6:00 (1st CLASS FEBRUARY 7th)
These classes offer students an introduction to all that Theatre performance has to offer. Instruction includes Theatre Games and Improv, as well as Song and Dance excerpts from ***THE JUNGLE BOOK*** culminating with an end-of-season in-class performance.
End of Season Performance: MAY 1, 2012.
MAIN STAGE PERFORMANCE COMPANY
(Grades 4-9)

Wednesdays 4:00-5:30 (1st REHEARSAL FEBRUARY 8th)
Rehearsals include instruction in Singing, Acting, and Dance in preparation for performance of a full-scale Broadway Musical. Weekly (WED.) rehearsals, in addition to other rehearsals, are mandatory. PERFORMANCE DATES MAY 25, 26, 27, 2012.
VOICE TRAINING FOR MUSICAL THEATRE
(Grades 3-9)
Thursdays 4:00-5:30 (1st CLASS FEBRUARY 9th)
Master Class offering group voice lessons, which focus on proper breathing, voice placement, and projection, diction, intonation, and preparation for auditions. The students also choose their own Broadway Musical songs, which they use for learning vocal techniques. The class culminates with a final Open Rehearsal Performance: MAY 10, 2012.
