Musical Theatre New Home

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKS is a unique Theatre Academy and Performance Company for students in grades K-12.  Our exciting programs provide an opportunity for students to learn about and experience all aspects of Musical Theatre by working with professional Directors, Designers and Instructors.  MTW produces two full-scale Broadway Musicals each year, offers two performance training classes and Voice training for Musical Theatre, as well as 3 three-week Summer Programs.

MTW's theatre programs and classes are open to all levels of students.  Our diverse population is made up of beginning students (with little or no experience in the performing arts), as well as students who have had previous stage experience.  Our students come from 45 public, private and parochial schools throughout the Bay Area (San Francisco, Marin County and the Peninsula).  Admission to MTW is based primarily on a student's sincere desire to participate in this Performing Arts Academy.  MTW also has a strong scholarship/financial assistance program which helps assure that our Company will attract students from all socio and economic levels.  All classes, rehearsals and performances are held at the Randall Museum, 199 Museum Way,
San Francisco, CA 94114.

MTW is a nonprofit organization devoted to bringing real theatre experiences to young people through the infinite and exciting world of the Performing Arts.  For further information re: our programs, schedules and performances, please see the Contact Us page at the end of this site.
