A three-week Performing Arts Workshop (Grades 3-10)

A three-week, performing arts intensive. Studies focus on Vocal Performance and Technique, Improv, Scene Study, and Dance for Musical Theatre.  In addition, students begin to explore the technical aspects of theatre, including costuming, lighting, and scenic design.  The final performance is based on excerpts from current Broadway hits such as HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, BYE BYE BIRDIE and GREASE.  (Final show selection TBA soon).

A three-week Performance and Production Workshop (Grades 3-10)

Learn how to put on a show!  This summer program offers in-depth instruction on Musical Theatre performance and production. Students not only perform, but they also design sets, costumes, lights and more! Final production focuses on the work of one composer, such as Stephen Schwartz, and excerpts from his Musicals, WICKED, GODSPELL and PIPPIN.  (Final show selection TBA soon).

JULY 27-August 14, 2009 9:00am-3:00pm
A three-week Introductory Theatre Workshop (Grades K-2)

Our youngest students begin to explore the world of Musical Theatre!  Classes will focus on song, story telling, creative movement and dance. Students are encouraged to use their imaginations to the fullest. A great introduction to the joy of theatre ending with a wonderful showcase performance of song and dance from several great Musicals such as ANNIE, THE LION KING, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, etc.  (Final show selection TBA soon).
